Seiko 5 Sports SRPD63 Two-Tone Customized Watch

The Seiko 5 Sports SRPD51 is a distinctive automatic sports watch customized with a two-tone appearance inspired by the classic color combination associated with the Rolex Submariner “Bluesy.”

The original Seiko 5 Sports SRPD51 features a blue sunray dial and matching blue unidirectional rotating bezel, housed in a stainless-steel 42.5mm case with a stainless-steel bracelet. This customized version introduces contrasting gold-tone elements to create a more luxurious two-tone appearance.

At the center of the watch is the rich blue sunray dial, which creates subtle reflections under changing light. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indexes for enhanced visibility, while the day-date display provides useful everyday functionality.

Powering the Seiko 5 Sports SRPD51 is Seiko’s Caliber 4R36 automatic movement with manual-winding capability. The movement features 24 jewels, operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and offers approximately 41 hours of power reserve. It also includes a stop-seconds function.

The 42.5mm stainless-steel case measures 13.4mm thick and 46mm from lug to lug. A Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while the see-through screw caseback allows the mechanical movement to be viewed. The watch is rated to 100m / 10 bar water resistance.

The result is a sporty yet refined customized watch that combines the recognizable Seiko 5 Sports SRPD51 platform with a two-tone blue-and-gold aesthetic.
